Do just one thing
Our Grandchildren's Climate have taken inspiration from the late Michael Moseley who suggested that by doing 'just one thing' you could make a real difference to your own health. We are suggesting you do just one thing to help the planet and its citizens become healthier. Below is a list of possible actions. We would like hear about your experience, whether it is joining a local group, listening to a talk, doing a training, going on a protest or coming up with an idea that you would like us to pursue. After you take action do please write to us at info@ourgrandchildrensclimate.org and tell us about it.

This list will have links connected to the suggestions soon. We are a new and small organisation. If you can help in any way do please join us. This page is very much in the early stages of construction.
Change your bank: Most UK banks are active in financing fossil-fuel companies in some form or another, but some are worse than others. We've already protested at a Barclays AGM, and outside a branch of HSBC. Check your own bank here ...... and consider a less damaging bank (for instance Co-op Bank or Triodos Bank) here .....
Next: Who do you insure (your house, car or yourself) with? Some of the best-known ones (yours?) have an appalling record. Time for change? see here .......
Finally: Who is your pension provider, and are they (and you?) investing substantially in fossil-fuels? Contact them, raise an objection, attend a meeting.
