Greetings from Alan, Charlotte, Danya, Em, Judith, Julia, Kate, Lenny, Nic, Penny, Sigurd and Vic in our our Executive Group. The group meets on the second Wednesday of the month. We warmly welcome suggestions and comments from a wider public: info@ourgrandchildrensclimate.org

Come to our next Open Meeting on 6th May at 5 pm, when we will have a speaker from Media Revolution. The world’s media system; social media – corporate media and state media – has been hijacked by a handful of powerful interests – billionaire-owners, political operators and advertisers. Zoom link available.

DO JUST ONE THING IN MAY

Explore The National Emergency Briefing (NEB) where UK's leading climate and naure experts briefed some MP's on the risks, impacts and solutions to the climate emergency. There are 10 short films. They cover nature, climate, tipping points, weather extremes, food security, health, national security, economics and energy transition and are chaired by Professor Mike Berners-Lee. Do come to our AGM on 3rd June at 5pm where we will be showing 2 short films, about 10 minutes each. One on health and one will be a surprise. For the link, just message info@ourgrandchildrensclimate.org
Some of our members are involved in arranging local showings of and discussions around this 45-minute film. There are over 100 showings across the country. Find your nearest on this interactive map.

We also have three working groups: a Don't-forget-the-grandchildren, an Actions Group, and a Pensions and Finance Group.

WERE YOU THERE? (above) Tens (hundreds?) of thousands went on the Together Alliance march on 28th March in London. At times it was a tight squeeze.
