FORTHCOMING ACTIONS
We'll be there (around midday in Central London - further details later).
Polarizing hatred is damaging the future for our grandchildren, for everyone's grandchild. Join us.
Our friends at the campaigning group ShareAction are telling us that the Government is consulting on whether to permit all company AGMs to take place online - a move that would make it harder for small shareholders like some of us to ask awkward questions and hold Companies to account. If you have an experience of attending a company AGM to share, get in touch with enquiries@shareaction.org by Friday 27th February, and mention Our Grandchildren's Climate.
Tuesday 17 March 2026 2-5pm: Mass lobby of parliament to defend our right to protest, jointly organised by civil society organisations including Amnesty International UK, Greenpeace, Liberty, Quakers in Britain, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and many trade unions. The Government has introduced an extreme proposal to give police new powers to restrict protests based on their so-called ‘cumulative disruption’. If this becomes law, the police in England and Wales will be required to consider any past protests or planned future protests in the same ‘area’ when deciding whether to impose restriction. Come, join us, and lobby your MP. Register here, or via one of the many other organizations participating. Let us know if you're planning to attend, so that we can look out for you.
